To lick means to pass the tongue over the surface of something. Hence, you can lick ice cream. 📌 Do you drink oranges? No! Oranges are not water. To drink means to take (a liquid) into the mouth and swallow. When you drink a liquid, you take it into your mouth and swallow it. He drank his cup of tea. 📌 Do you munch oranges? No. If you munch food, you eat it by chewing it slowly, thoroughly, and rather noisily. Munch is to chew with a grinding, crunching sound. When you take oranges, there is no crunching sound. You munch apple. 📌 Do you eat oranges? Yes. When you eat something, you put/squeeze it into your mouth, chew it, and swallow it. Hence, eat is the appropriate word to use when you take an orange. Mr. John Obidi loves to eat oranges. #S͛рⷬeͤaͣᴋⷦIͥmͫрⷬeͤcͨcͨaͣвⷡleͤEͤngliͥs͛hͪ ©️ 〇ⲕᎯ⨍𝖮ᖇ ᑌ⊂Ꮒ∈.       ᎶᖇᎯⲙⲙᎯᖇ ᙅ𝖮Ꭿ⊂Ꮒ
