Hence, you can lick ice cream. 📌 Do you drink oranges? No! Oranges are not water. To drink means to take (a liquid) into the mouth and swallow. When you drink a liquid, you take it into your mouth and swallow it. He drank his cup of tea. 📌 Do you munch oranges? No. If you munch food, you eat it by chewing it slowly, thoroughly, and rather noisily. Munch is to chew with a grinding, crunching sound. When you take oranges, there is no crunching sound.
