At vs. In: prepositional differences.

 I'ᴍ ɪɴ Lᴀɢᴏs ᴠs. I'ᴍ ᴀᴛ Lᴀɢᴏs.




Aᴛ and Iɴ are two commonly misused prepositions in the English language. 

These two prepositions are commonly misused when they are used as prepositions of place and prepositions of time. Therefore, i will specifically examine their usage as prepositions of place.

AT is used for small towns and villages.

IN is used for large places and countries and towns.

📌 AT= Small towns and Villages.

📌 IN= Large places, countries, and towns.

🌬️ Example: I was born ᴬᵗ Ikeja ᴵⁿ Lagos.

Ikeja- small town.

Lagos- Large town.

🌬️ Example: I lived  ᴵⁿ Nigeria ᴬᵗ Abuja.

Lagos- large place.

Abuja- small town.
