Double date vs. Two-time

 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗩𝗦. 𝗧𝗪𝗢-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘

We often use the word double date to mean when a man cheats on his wife by having an affair with another woman, which is incorrect in terms of meaning.

The appropriate word for that meaning is two-time.

According to Cambridge Dictionary, two-time means to deceive someone you are having a relationship with by having a secret sexual relationship with someone else at the same time.

For example: ended the relationship when I found out he was two-timing me.
